Albuquerque Trip
CONGRATULATIONS TO MY BEST FRIEND, LISA!!!! SHE PASSED HER PATHO 2 CLASS AND HER FIRST SEMESTER OF NURSING SCHOOL!!!!!!!! I KNEW SHE COULD DO IT AND I AM SO SO PROUD OF HER!!! CONGRATULATIONS LEES :D :D :D
To celebrate, I took her out to eat at her favorite restaurant, Arches, on Friday night, which is when she found out about her Patho 2 class. The next day we headed out to Albuquerque to watch Captain America: CIVIL WAR at the IMAX theater. I tried asking my little brother to come with us, but he pulled out because he is graduating college Saturday (tomorrow) and he had other plans. I don't know why he didn't tell me this last week. He made me plan this whole thing out and didn't mention a word about anything until the day I said "Let's go!" Typical.
Anyway, we went out there and had a blast. We stopped at the Sandia Casino and Resort soon as we got there. It was a huge casino and we'd never been there before. On our last Albuquerque visit back in January, we said the next time we go we're going there and we did. I won over a hundred dollars in there, which paid for our room and the movie. There were some bad parts of our trip though. On our way home, we visited two other casinos and I ended up dropping a hundred dollars at both of them :( So that really really sucks and it's totally my fault. A HUGE mistake! I feel so freakin bad about it. I didn't mean for that to happen.
While we were out there, Lisa finally got word from the college that she passed her first semester of Nursing School. She was scared and crying at first because it looked like she failed because they didn't post her grades. She was so worried and started to cry but I kept telling her to be patient because they hadn't posted a lot of other ppl's grades too, not just hers. She is not a patient person, though. She was very devastated for about an hour. Finally, they posted it and all her friends texted her and told her she passed! They were all happy and jumping around for her and she was so happy and excited. I've never seen her that happy before! I was so proud of her, but I told her that I was never worried and that I knew she was going to pass. She told the whole family and everyone was happy for her. That was why we decided to go to the casino and have more fun. It just didn't work out for us and I just lost money, which really sucked. The day was still good, though, because of Lisa :D
My mom is still mad. She hasn't said a word to me since finding out about my job situation. She's really angry, disappointed and just flat out pissed off. She's ignoring me and basically shut me out of her life. How fuckin stupid and pathetic is that? I just can't believe it. Can't believe how horrible she is. It's just stressing me out all over again. Seriously, it's all the stress from Smiths with Adrian all over again, but reborn with my mom. Dammit, this sucks!
