2016 Family Summer Camping Trip
So we just got back from our Camping Trip! We went out to Capote Lake, Colorado :D
It was Awesome!! Back in May, my grandpa began asking me where we were going camping this summer. He always looks forward to that every year. So when he asked me again at the beginning of the month, I told him that I planned it out and that we'd all go to Capote Lake, since everyone loves it out there because of the nice campgrounds area and the bathroom facilities. So I planed it for the 25 and 26th of June. I tried telling everyone, texting them and everything but not everyone came out. It didn't seem like their hearts were in it. My Aunt's stupid husband is still pissed off at me too. Because of that, my aunt is not talking to me, neither is his kids. Why, because I told that prick to get all his shit off my land. He brought a bunch of truck pieces over here last October while I was recovering from surgery. He asked if he could leave it here for 1 MONTH until he found another place to put it. He also said he was going to be working on it every weekend and building it up. He said he would pay me $40 bucks for keeping it here so I agreed. Well that asshole brought it over here and ran off to Albuquerque and didn't even give me my money until he got back. Then, he gives me $31 instead of $40, but I don't complain to him. I just accepted it. THEN, 1 month goes by, then 2 months. He never comes over once to work on anything. On Christmas Eve of last year, he gives me $20 for keeping all his stuff there. I was very happy and thankful. Then another month goes by, then another month, and another month. I was getting tired of it because he wasn't working on anything. I just knew that all the junk was going to be sitting in my driveway for the next 5 years and I'm sorry but that was NOT happening. So at the end of April, I told him to get his crap out of here. I told him that I would be willing to keep it here until August but he had to pay me $200 because I needed money pretty bad. He flat out denied that and told me he'd come pick up everything that weekend. Well that weekend came and went and he didn't come. Finally he came and got it the following week while I was at work. He was all pissed off when he was picking it up. Lisa tried offering to help them load it up, but he was mad and told her he didn't need her help. So since then, he's been acting like a bitch and has been mad and ignorning me. He won't talk to me and now his whole family is mad at me. So I didn't expect them to come out to the camping trip. I included them, though and texted them both. I got no response but screw it, whatever.
The people that DID come out, though, were my Mom and Dad (and btw yes my mom and I are finally talking again yay) my grandpa and grandma, Lisa, and even my cousin Derek, his gf Dara, and their little baby, Riley. They came out for the day on Saturday. That was so nice to see them! They didn't stay, though. Just for the day because Dara had to work. We all had fun! My mom and grandma cooked up some good food for us all to eat on Saturday night and Sunday morning. We also had lunch today before we left. Lisa packed up our camp site by herself while me, grandpa, and dad went down to the lake and fished some more. It was really fun! We didn't catch many trout but we were catching catfish left and right. It was crazy! They were everywhere.
Lisa and I are totally out of cash now lol. It was worth it, though. We did a lot of financial planning to be able to go. Lisa got a job at McDonald's and she's loving it so far. They don't give her much hours, but she's doing her best. She'll only be there until she has to go back to school in August. Then she'll be starting her Second Semester of Nursing School. I'm so proud of her.
Well that was our trip. We got home and right away, I watered my dogs down and gave them all fresh water. It was so hot outside. I untied Cody and let him run around. I then watered all my trees and washed my vehicles. Lisa unpacked the car and we put everything away. Then we cooled down the house and just enjoyed being home the rest of the evening. It was a great trip! I'm so glad my mom and I are talking again. Everything is back to peaceful times in my family.
One big thing is that out there, I made the decision to start up my daily exercising again. Fyrescape 2 has definitely been interesting. This "Reloaded" Journey has not had it's dull moments. I do 3 miles on occasion, but not as often as I could. I want to clean out my weightroom and I have so many backed up files in my phone and tablet, even on my computer that I need to sort thru. That Smiths job took so much of my time and energy that I haven't had a chance to do anything. I'm so glad that's all over and done with. So I think that on June 29th, I'll start my daily exercising. I love having those solid dates and since the 29th is the day I start in April, it would be a great time to start it up in June, 2 months later ;) Great little perk of the "reloaded" thing lol. I'm ready now!!
